Biography
Nora Zelevansky is an LA and sometimes NYC-based freelance lifestyle expert, journalist, essayist and satirist for publications like Daily Candy, Allure, Town & Country, Salon.com, RackedLA, Cosmopolitan, C Magazine, The LA Times and many more.
She is fortunate enough to travel the globe on all manner of quests, researching stories and uncovering lesser known enclaves (you know, the areas where artists and designers nest first), seeking out strange and lovely discoveries from Austin's best sesame sorbet to the most beautiful new bag designer from Thailand. Embarking on these adventures, she noticed an absence of guides covering more up-and-coming hoods, local shops and boutique collections.
So, POCKET LINT became a repository for the best discoveries unexpectedly found on these jaunts to oft neglected areas (and also largely in and around her own LA home); a source for young, quirky, curious, style and food-obsessed explorers, full of must-taste, sample, smell, ogle, absorb, try on, try out, smother in, giggle at, loll by and hide in spots in burgeoning chic, but elusive urban enclaves.
